I’ve been in the word of mental health and yoga for quite sometime. I found the importance of yoga when I just wanted a good workout in the heat.
At that time I was so focused on just working out that I was blind to the mental benefits. Once I tuned in, I tuned out. I tuned in to insecurity, fear, and mental blocks in order to tune out distractions ,escape behaviors, and denial.
My journey, just by moving my body, has allowed me to shift my headspace.
I hope to bring the same space, energy, and safety to those in the room with me. The first step is showing up, the rest comes after.
Certifications: RYT 200, Completing course work towards BCBA
